to consider before joining
1) Food
Not every restaurant at 7-Springs is open on Thursday nights, but First Tracks, in the main ski lodge, is the place to pick up a quick fulfilling bite to eat, featuring our mashed potato meltdown. Pizza, chicken fingers, burgers or our soon-to-be famous pepperoni rolls! Located on the main level of the Ski Lodge, First Tracks is open daily during ski season and you can can typically get a meal for between $10 - $15.
2) Student Activity Fee
An annual $50.00 nonrefundable activity fee, which is due September 1st (or at least before the student participates in any extracurricular activities), shall be applied to all students in grades 7-12. The payment of the fee permits each student to seek the opportunity to participate in any or all of the extracurricular activities, clubs, or interscholastic athletic programs offered by the district. For programs that require competitive processes among students for final selection, payment of this fee only guarantees a student the opportunity to participate in the selection process. All funds generated by this fee will be deposited into the district’s general fund to support continued enrichment opportunities for all students. (From Board Policy 122)
Parents/Guardians of students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch programs may request a waiver from paying the activity fee by notifying the district in writing.
Fees will be set by the Board annually.
Failure to pay the annual fee will prevent a student from participating in any extracurricular activity, club or interscholastic athletic program until the fee has been paid.
Payment of Student Activity Fee: There are now two methods of paying the fee. You may either send a check with the completed form or pay online. Both ways can be started on the Athletics Webpage.
3) Ski or Snowboard Lessons: (SEE LESSONS PAGE FOR MORE DETAILS)
4) Your Equipment:
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE (Own or Rent) THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT Before our first trip (Skis, Boots, Poles, Snowboards, Helmet, etc).
Students will store their equipment in a secured room during the day of the trip. Just come in to the office lobby BEFORE 8:00 AM
WE DO NOT RENT FROM 7 SPRINGS: If you need to rent your equipment, do not plan on renting it at 7-springs (Renting from 7springs on the day of our trips will take away a lot of your valuable time on the slopes).
If you choose to RENT this year...
We HIGHLY recommend you rent GOOD, QUALITY equipment for the entire season from...
