Before we talk about the Joining the Ski & Board Club, Let's take a moment to remind you that this is a school club which means...
All participants in the Ski & Board Club are representing Franklin Regional Middle School. Students are expected to be mature and have good grades to remain in the club.
The Franklin Regional School Board directs that no student may participate in extracurricular activities who is not in good academic standings. Therefore, Mr. Racchini will periodically check in with the Middle School teachers to ensure all members are staying on top of their academic responsibilities during the Ski & Board Club season.

Student Activities
Franklin Regional provides a number of extra-curricular activities for students who wish to participate. These activities include clubs, organizations and athletic teams.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Participants are required to maintain a 70% grade average among their four core courses: math, social studies, science, and English. Details will be distributed to each student at the beginning of the season.
2. A student may be declared ineligible by the administration, sponsor or coach for disciplinary reasons.
3. There will be no appeals.
4. In addition to these rules of eligibility, the various coaches and sponsors can add additional requirements.
6. All students in grades 7-12 will pay an activity fee.
It is each member's responsibility to:
Maintain good academic standings in all classes, by completing all assignments on time, participating in class, and properly preparing for all assessments.
Attended school regularly. Anytime a student is absent from the classroom, he/she is robbing themselves of his/her education and will most certainly have more difficulty mastering the material and concepts. Make sure you try to get to school everyday. Make sure you try to get to each class on time everyday. And try not to leave (for the bathroom, a drink, etc) unless it is an absolute emergency.
Be in attendance on the day of the trip for the hours required. All Ski & Board members going on the trip are required to arrive at the Middle School no later than 11:15am. Any member that arrives to school later than this will not be eligible for the trip.
Be in attendance the day AFTER our trip. All Ski & Board club members should also know that simply attending our trip is not a valid excuse for being absent or tardy the following day. Likewise it is not an excuse for not having an assignment completed. Any student that has an unexcused absence the day after our trip may be removed from the Club's next trip.
Remember: All participants are representing Franklin Regional Middle School. Students must be mature and have good grades to remain in the club. Any misconduct or bad behavior on the slopes, on the bus, in the lodge, or even at school, will result in the removal of that student from the club and forfeiture of all fees paid.
